"...[D]octrine and creed and race meant nothing. No matter what we believed we were all children joined under one God, and that the only rule was God's true law - do unto others as you would have them do unto you." - May Eulitt

[Acceptance brings peace
]
Only full acceptance can bring you true peace. Acceptance does not mean resignation. Accept to befriend and transform, instead of trying to fight and destroy.

Volume I, Book I,Chapter XIV
"Love each other; he declared this to be
complete, desired nothing further, and that was the whole
of his doctrine."
Volume I, Book II, Chapter IV
"The supreme
happiness of life consists in the conviction that one is loved;
loved for one’s own sake—let us say rather, loved in spite of
one’s self".
Volume II, Book VII, Chapter V
"At the same time that there is an infinite without us,
is there not an infinite within us? Are not these two infinites (what an alarming plural!) superposed, the one upon
the other? Is not this second infinite, so to speak, subjacent
to the first? Is it not the latter’s mirror, reflection, echo, an
abyss which is concentric with another abyss?"
Volume II, Book VII, Chapter VI
"There is, as we know, a philosophy which denies the infinite. There is also a philosophy, pathologically classified,
which denies the sun; this philosophy is called blindness.
To erect a sense which we lack into a source of truth, is a
fine blind man’s self-sufficiency."
"Progress is the goal, the ideal is the type.
What is this ideal? It is God.
Ideal, absolute, perfection, infinity: identical words."
Volume IV, Book V, Chapter IV: A Heart Beneath a Stone
"The reduction of the universe to a single being, the expansion of a single being even to God, that is love. "
" Oh! how true it is that the beloved being
becomes God."
"God is behind everything, but everything hides God.
Things are black, creatures are opaque. To love a being is to
render that being transparent."
"Love, that is the only thing that can occupy and fill
eternity. In the infinite, the inexhaustible is requisite."
"All of us, whoever we may be, have our respirable beings.
We lack air and we stifle. Then we die. To die for lack of love
is horrible. Suffocation of the soul"
"Love has its childishness, other passions have their pettinesses. Shame on the passions which belittle man! Honor to the one which makes a child of him!
"Ye who suffer because ye love, love yet more. To die of love, is to live in it."
"Love is a celestial respiration of the air of paradise."
"Deep hearts, sage minds, take life as God has made it; it is a long trial, an incomprehensible preparation for an unknown destiny.
"Woe, alas! to him who shall have loved only bodies,
forms, appearances! Death will deprive him of all. Try to love souls, you will find them again."
Volume V, Book IX, Chapter V
"Love each other well and always. There is nothing else but that
in the world: love for each other."

[Aladdin - A Whole New World
]
I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess,
now when did
You last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride
A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no or where to go
Or say we're only dreaming
A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Now I'm in a whole new world with you
Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling
Through an endless diamond sky
A whole new world
Don't you dare close your eyes
A hundred thousand things to see
(Hold your breath, it gets better)
I'm like a shooting star
I've come so far
I can't go back
To where I used to be
A whole new world
Every turn a surprise
With new horizons to pursue
Every moment red-letter
I'll chase them anywhere
There's time to spare
Let me share this whole new world with you
A whole new world
That's where we'll be
A thrilling chase
A wondrous place
For you and me
----
The more you are, the more you can be for others.
You cannot give to others what you do not have yourself. First, make yourself emotionally, physically, spiritually wealthy, and then freely give to others.

"Who am I,
Can I condemn this man to slavery,
Pretend I do not feel his agony,
This innocent who wear my face,
To go through judgement in my place?
Who am I,
Can I conceal myself forevermore,
Pretend I'm not the man I was before,
And must this name until I die,
Be no more than an alibi?
Must I lie,
How can I face my fellow men?
How can I ever face myself again?
I gave my soul to God, I know,
I made that bargain long ago.
He gave me hope when hope was gone,
He gave me strength to journey on."
-Who am I
-------
On this page,
I write my last confession.
Read it well,
When I at last am sleeping.
It's a story of those who always loved you,
Your mother gave her life for you and gave you to my keeping.
Come with me,
Where chains will never bind you.
All your grief,
At last, at last behind you.
Lord in heaven;
Look down on him in mercy
Forgive me all my trespasses and take me to your glory
Take my hand,
And lead me to salvation.
Take my love,
For love is everlasting.
And remember
The truth that once was spoken:
"To love another person is to see the face of God".

The only thing preventing me from taking action is my fear of having to restart life on earth all over again. (Yes, I believe in reincarnation.)
I don't want to have to go through another 17 years just to reach the same point in life all over again.
I haven't finished learning my lessons here.
It's not time for me to go yet.
My kitten needs me (no kidding).
Although I've been feeling like shit for the past few days/weeks (I've been keeping a lot bottled up inside), things will hopefully get better.

Five blind men wanted to learn for the first time what an elephant was like. They were then led to one and each man grabbed hold of whatever part of the elephant they could. Each man was certain he could describe the entire elephant by merely feeling whatever part of the elephant they had grabbed.
The man holding onto the trunk of the elephant was certain the elephant was the shape of a wiggly snake and said so.
But the man feeling the elephant's ear insisted the elephant was like a palm leaf.
With a firm grip on one of the elephant's legs, the third man declared that an elephant is like a tree trunk.
"No," stated another man patting the elephant's side, "This beast is truly the size of a wall."
Then the fifth man, being the loudest and most impatient of the group, clasped the animal's tail and yelled, "Oh, my brothers, you are not only blind but crazy, for the elephant is the shape of a rope."
This story of the five blind men is actually an ancient Hindu parable illustrating how all religions attempt to describe the nature of God.
